The Role
We are looking for an IT Admin Lead to own and manage all internal IT operations while ensuring a secure, efficient, and well-supported IT environment for our employees.
This is an exciting opportunity to lead and scale IT operations in a fast-growing SaaS company while driving improvements in IT security, compliance, automation, and cost efficiency. Reporting to the CTO, you will play a crucial role in managing IT support, onboarding/offboarding, device management, software licensing, vendor coordination, and compliance projects.
Additionally, you will be responsible for supporting our hybrid work environment, ensuring that both remote and on-site employees have the tools, connectivity, and security measures needed to work efficiently and seamlessly.
Your work will directly impact company-wide IT efficiency, security, and employee productivity as you prioritize and execute key IT initiatives in collaboration with leadership and cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
IT Operations & Support
Oversee daily IT operations, including support, onboarding/offboarding, device management (Mac/Windows), and software licensing.
Provide efficient technical support for employees, ensuring smooth hybrid and remote collaboration.
Improve IT workflows through automation, self-service tools, and optimized support processes.
Maintain IT documentation, including setup guides and security policies.
Security, Compliance & Strategy
Partner with the CTO on IT and security initiatives to build a scalable and secure infrastructure.
Lead compliance efforts (SOC2, GDPR) in collaboration with Finance, HR, Legal, and Tech teams.
Manage identity and access controls (SSO, MFA, RBAC) and oversee IT risk management.
Work with external IT and security providers to ensure system integrity and protection.
Vendor & Budget Management
Optimize IT budgets, ensuring cost-effective software licensing and compliance.
Manage vendor relationships, ensuring performance aligns with SLAs.
Recommend new tools and automation strategies to enhance IT efficiency.
Automation & Process Improvement
Automate IT workflows (user provisioning, software deployment, ticketing).
Implement IT policies and best practices to improve security and reliability.
Support asset management to track devices, software usage, and compliance
What We’re Looking For
Must-Have Skills & Experience
5+ years of experience in IT administration, IT support, or IT operations within a SaaS or cloud-first environment.
Proven track record of managing IT support, onboarding, software licensing, and vendor coordination in a fast-paced company.
Strong Mac and Windows device management experience, with hands-on knowledge of MDM solutions (Jamf, ZenAdmin, or equivalent).
Experience with identity management (Okta, Corma, etc), Single Sign-On (SSO), and security best practices.
Knowledge of IT security frameworks, compliance standards (SOC2, GDPR), and risk management.
Skilled in budget management and IT vendor negotiations, ensuring cost-efficient software licensing and service agreements.
Familiarity with automation tools, scripting, and IT process optimization.
Nice-to-Have & Desired Personal Attributes
Experience with cloud-based IT infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure).
Familiarity with network administration (firewalls, VPNs, Wi-Fi security, VLANs).
Passion for improving IT processes through automation and self-service solutions.
High energy, confident, and self-driven individual with a problem-solving mindset.
Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with Finance, HR, Legal, and Engineering teams.
