We are looking for a highly creative and strategic Social Media and Community Manager intern. You will help bring our stories to life and grow the community across relevant social media channels. You’ll help craft, lead and execute social media plans and creating social-first content.
The ideal candidate will have a strong grip on how to approach social media platforms, in particular Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn and Youtube. We’re looking for someone that lives and breathes social, can drop strategic gems like it’s nothing and isn’t afraid of taking big, bold risks to win. They will be an excellent writer and content creator at heart. They will be ready to roll up their sleeves and work alongside our team.
This is a part time internship of around 15-20 hours a week paid at an hourly rate (TBD).
What You'll Do:
Work in close collaboration with the Creator Partnerships team on content ideas
Drafting and maintaining a social media calendar
Research, schedule, and execute on content regarding the Creator ecosystem in the form of TikToks, Instagram posts, Facebook posts, and more
Ability to create short form video content into many different formats in a timely manner
Maximize social media reach and influence with Creators
Assist with the community management of our social platforms by responding to questions, tweets, and direct messages
Help manage challenging situations quickly and effectively
About You:
Some experience managing social media and/or creating content online.
Knowledgeable in most if not all social platforms such as but not limited to: Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, Twitch, Discord, Reddit
A builders mentality who thrives in collaborative environments, but is also excited in taking your own initiative by bringing ideas and testing to the table.
Harbor empathy and curiosity, striving to understand the motivations, behaviors, and activities of creators and our audience. You want to tell stories in the most interesting way.
Highly organized. You take pride in your ability to effectively manage projects, meet deadlines, and drive projects forward.
Ability to identify and track relevant community and social media metrics
Excellent verbal and written communicator
High emotional IQ.
Strong interest in content creators/media space and financial technologies.
