Job Description

This is a remote position.

We are seeking a QA Manual SR with extensive experience in software testing to play a critical role in ensuring the quality and functionality of our applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Product Owners and Developers, to define testing strategies, execute test plans, and maintain high standards of quality across our products.

In this role, you will:

  • Design and execute detailed test cases and test plans to ensure product functionality and performance.
  • Identify, document, and track bugs, collaborating with development teams to resolve issues effectively.
  • Maintain up-to-date QA documentation, including test results, quality metrics, and reports.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners to define acceptance criteria for user stories and actively participate in agile ceremonies.
  • Apply testing strategies as required, including regression, smoke, integration, stress, and performance testing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • QA Documentation: Ensure sufficient, clear, and up-to-date documentation in the test management tool.
  • Team Communication: Actively participate in meetings, collaborate with the Product Owner to understand requirements, and maintain communication with developers and technical leads.
  • Adding Value: Contribute to QA process improvement by providing insights during UAT/Demos and suggesting enhancements to QA methodologies.

Requirements

  • English Proficiency: B2-C1.
  • Strong understanding of the software development process.
  • Extensive experience designing and executing test cases and test plans.
  • Proven ability to identify, document, and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with QA team members, developers, PMs, and TLs.
  • Experience working with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, Lean, etc.).
  • Familiarity with project management tools like Jira, ClickUp, or similar platforms.
  • Solid expertise in manual testing across various environments, including:
  • Web (multiple browsers like Chrome, Firefox, Safari).
  • Mobile (iOS, Android).
  • Proficiency in various testing types such as smoke, sanity, regression, integration, UAT, stress, and performance testing.
  • Experience with QA trac
