About Our Client

The mission of our client is to empower economic freedom, which led to the creation and launch of a leading digital currency in 2016. Today, alongside various independent teams and developers, the company continues to support the community through product development, awareness, adoption, and cutting-edge research initiatives.

Engagement occurs across a variety of media and social media channels to communicate with a wide audience, educate, maintain transparency, and broadcast the company’s message to the world. To drive these initiatives, a hands-on Strategic Marketing Manager is sought to enhance the adoption of the digital currency for payments and support its protocol.

The Strategic Marketing Manager will report directly to the Chief Executive Officer and collaborate closely with the Community Manager and the Head of Product Marketing.

Key Responsibilities

- Content Development: Create engaging content, including blog posts, infographics, whitepapers, case studies, videos, and social media campaigns that educate and inform the audience. Utilize analytics and user research insights to craft content that resonates with users and the community. Maintain a content calendar.

- Analytics & Reporting: Monitor and analyze marketing performance metrics to optimize campaigns while reporting on ROI, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.

- Strategic Vision: Develop and implement marketing and communication strategies that align with the product roadmap and overall business objectives.

- Digital Marketing: Oversee digital marketing initiatives, including the management of web properties and social media, to enhance online presence and generate demand.

- Brand Management: Strengthen and maintain the brand identity and messaging across all channels to ensure consistency and resonance with target audiences.

- Public Relations: Manage media relations and develop press releases, media kits, and thought leadership pieces to position the company as a trusted authority in the cryptocurrency sector.

- Partner Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with key industry stakeholders, partners, and influencers to amplify the company’s message and extend its reach.

- Team Leadership: Assist in building out the marketing team, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and professional development.

Requirements

- Strong copywriting and storytelling skills. Ability to execute basic designs using tools like Canva is a significant advantage.

- Strong portfolio of content created, demonstrating versatility across different formats and channels.

- Analytical capabilities to assess the effectiveness of marketing content and campaigns, adjusting strategies based on data.

- Proven experience in developing and executing marketing strategies that align with business goals.

- Deep understanding and experience in the cryptocurrency industry, including major players, communities, and trends.

- 5+ years of proven experience leading marketing and/or business growth, ideally in a start-up environment.

- Proven success in scaling a high-growth company or business unit.

- Experience working internationally and cross-culturally, across varied contexts and belief systems.

- Understanding of cryptocurrencies, including function, market dynamics, benefits, and drawbacks.

- Ability to set and deliver on growth targets.

- Excellent leadership and managerial skills.

- Experience working cross-functionally with various platforms to create a cohesive growth plan.

- Results-oriented mindset, holding oneself accountable for both short and long-term success.

- Exceptional communication skills.

- Strong background in operational excellence and financial management.
