Your Responsibilities Include
- Driving GNAT Pro for Rust forward by identifying capabilities that will enable us to meet customer needs, stand out in the marketplace, and enter new industrial domains related to our core strategy
- Advocating for Rust within our user base to people currently using C/C++
- Identifying new potential opportunities in relevant industrial domains
- Communicating daily with other members of the product-management team, sales, engineering, and marketing to ensure product goals are realized
- Learning and becoming passionate about Rust
- Building ties to and advocating for AdaCore within the Rust community
- Master in computer science or equivalent
- Prior experience as software engineer
- 10+ years of experience in the software industry
- 3+ years of experience in Product Management
- Excellent communication skills
- Confidence working with stakeholders, including executives, across the company to push GNAT Pro for Rust forward
- Demonstrated ability to work in a cross-functional team
- Knowledge of Rust;
- Strong connections to the Rust community;
- Knowledge of other high-integrity programming languages such as Ada and C/C++
- Comfortable with a Unix development environment (git/svn, shell, etc.);
- Experience using the Python programming language in a production environment;
