The Senior Product Manager, Student Experience facilitates and participates in problem and solution discovery, product design, implementation, and go-to-market for software solutions. This position works within the Product, Engineering & Design teams to help discover and define customer and user needs, jobs to be done, desired outcomes, and the priority of them as the team gathers more data and learns from that data.

Position Information: This is a regular, full-time position, reporting to Group Product Manager.
Compensation: Base pay is anticipated to be between $108,688.00 and $134,000.00 per year. Eligible employees may also receive incentive/commission/annual bonus pay based on individual and/or company performance. Compensation may vary based on factors such as, but not limited to, individual skills, experience, training, education/certifications, geographic location, internal equity, and local market conditions.
Location: In this US-based position your location will be remote.
Travel: You can also expect up to approximately 10% travel, so be sure you have a valid driver’s license and automobile insurance and a clean driving record for at least the preceding 39 months.

Envision Your Experience.
In this role you’ll have the opportunity to:
- Inform the strategy for the experience components of our supplemental/intervention products.
- Use data to drive identification and prioritization of product initiatives including market research, user research, competitor analysis, product analytics, and client/field feedback.
- Maintain an in-depth understanding of the K-12 education market landscape.
- Develop outcomes-based roadmaps that deliver customer and business value over a defined period of time.
- Collaborate to develop an engaging experience for our students with enhanced motivation features, personalization, language supports, and robust student tools.
- Work with key stakeholders to identify solutions that can be leveraged by products throughout our portfolio.
- Translate solutions into detailed requirements and acceptance criteria for the engineering teams.
- Prioritize product enhancements and maintenance activities within the product backlog.
- Triage urgent issues in collaboration with support and development teams.
- Provide training and documentation on product updates to internal teams.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure that functional intent is achieved.
- Assure product quality before the product gets in the hands of the customer.

Share Your Expertise.
Experience, education, and qualifications essential for success in this role, include:
- Bachelor’s degree in sales, marketing, business, or similar field and 5+ years of experience as a Product Manager; or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
- Knowledge of childhood education is required.
- Experience working in the edtech market on student experience is a plus.
- Experience building student interfaces and student motivation features.
- A high degree of technical fluency and comfort.
- Effective listening, diplomacy and tact, and collaboration skills.
- Excellent organizational, time and project management skills; ability to effectively multi-task while meeting demanding deadlines.
- Strategic ability; anticipate future opportunities and consequences, demonstrated innovative approach to work.
- Ability to work independently but also operate efficiently and effectively within a collaborative team environment.
- Willingness and ability to travel as needed, up to 10%.
