Job Title: Virtual Operations Manager with Product Development & Marketing Oversight

Location and Workplace: Philippines, Remote Work Set-Up

Shift Schedule: Night Shift, Monday to Friday, 10 PM to 7 AM

Summary: We are seeking a Virtual Operations Manager to oversee the operations and growth of a premium beauty and wellness brand. This role focuses on reaching revenue growth targets through managing day-to-day business operations and product development timelines while ensuring alignment across cross-functional teams. About the Job

Key Responsibilities:

1. Operations Management:

  • Oversee and streamline daily operations, including customer service, fulfillment, and supply chain workflows, ensuring efficiency and timely execution.
  • Communicate closely with Sales, Marketing, and Design teams to align operations with branding initiatives.
  • Manage e-commerce platforms (Shopify, Amazon, Faire) to optimize product listings, inventory, and campaigns.
  • Troubleshoot operational challenges, implementing solutions to improve productivity.
  • Ensure compliance with established workflows and SOPs for all departments.

2. E-Commerce Platform & Digital Sales Channel Management:

  • Ensure seamless functionality across all sales channels.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to implement e-commerce campaigns effectively.
  • Monitor key e-commerce metrics and identify areas for improvement.

3. Product Development & Manufacturing Project Management:

  • Work with product development teams to manage timelines for new product launches.
  • Communicate with manufacturers and vendors to maintain supply chain and quality standards.
  • Address bottlenecks or delays proactively.

4. Light Marketing Awareness & Vendor Evaluation:

  • Stay informed about basic marketing concepts to assess their relevance to the company’s needs.
  • Conduct screenings of vendors or agencies to ensure alignment with company goals.
  • Identify organic growth opportunities.

5. Financial Oversight & Data Insights:

  • Review and interpret P&L statements and operational data for actionable insights.
  • Provide regular updates on key metrics to the founder.

6. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Leadership:

  • Act as the operational liaison between departments to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Provide regular updates on team performance and vendor relationships.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Operations & Project Management Expertise:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in operations management or project management.
  • Proven ability to manage cross-functional project timelines effectively.

E-Commerce Knowledge:

  • Experience with Shopify, Amazon, and wholesale platforms like Faire.
  • Familiarity with e-commerce optimization strategies.

Basic Marketing Awareness:

  • General understanding of digital marketing concepts and their impact on revenue growth.

Product Development & Supply Chain Knowledge:

  • Experience coordinating with manufacturers or suppliers to meet production goals.

Financial Acumen:

  • Ability to review and interpret operational performance metrics.

Communication & Leadership Skills:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Confident in leading virtual teams and facilitating interdepartmental communication.

Other Skills:

  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Basecamp, Trello) and communication tools (e.g., Slack, Zoom).
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
