We are looking for a highly skilled web developer to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial role in developing, maintaining, and optimizing our web properties: working on Tines.com and associated and emerging areas. Our presence online is a vital pillar of how we show up for customers, prospects and our team – the right candidate will see their work directly contribute to our continued success.
You will be involved in high-value projects from start to finish and as a contributor. Your direct colleagues and team will be design engineers and designers, and you’ll be collaborating closely with colleagues in marketing.
This is a remote or semi-remote position, with the employee required to be located in Ireland.
Activities
- Collaborate with designers, marketers and the wider team to build new pages new sections, entirely new web properties
- Maintain and improve web infrastructure using existing solutions and investigating new ones
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, ensuring fast and efficient web applications
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, adhering to best practices and coding standards
- Actively provide feedback for design work, from an engineering perspective
- Identify key areas on the site and build tests to improve reliability
Requirements
- Advanced understanding of HTML, CSS, TypeScript and React
- Self-starter with excellent communication and project management skills
Experience
We are especially eager to hear from individuals who have:
- A strong portfolio of elegant, performant websites.
- A track record of collaboration with design, marketing and technical teams.
- Frontend: Advanced level of proficiency in HTML, CSS, TypeScript, and modern frontend technologies including React, Sass, GatsbyJS, NextJS.
- Backend: Proficiency with server-side languages and frameworks, primarily NodeJS.
- An affinity for data and comfort collaborating with growth teams on fast-paced experimentation to drive outcomes. Experience with tools like Full Story, Optimizely, PostHog are a nice to have.
- Familiarity with technical SEO best practices and optimizations.
