Senior Tech Lead – Python & JavaScript (Node.js) – REF 70 – 10

Purpose of the Role

We are looking for an experienced and proactive Senior Tech Lead, for an innovative AI-powered solution for one of our clients in the healthcare industry.

This system leverages large language models (LLMs) and advanced diagnostics to identify heart defects and diseases in children, while tracking their condition management.

As the Tech Lead, you will drive the technical vision, oversee the development process, and ensure the delivery of a robust and scalable product.

The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in Python and JavaScript (Node.js), hands-on coding skills, and a passion for solving complex problems in healthcare.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture, design, and implementation, of complex solution that includes medical record scanning and diagnostics
• Experience with integrating AI tools and LLMsWrite high-quality, maintainable code (approximately 70% of the role), primarily in Python and JavaScript (Node.js).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, product managers, and healthcare stakeholders, to define technical requirements and deliver impactful solutions.
• Provide technical mentorship and guidance to a small team of developers (30% people management).
• Conduct code reviews, ensure best practices, and maintain high standards for performance, security, and scalability.
• Work closely with the client to understand their needs, incorporate feedback, and align the system with healthcare industry standards.
• Proactively identify and resolve technical challenges, optimizing AI-driven features for accuracy and efficiency.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and propose innovative approaches to enhance the system.

 

Required Experience & Knowledge

Mandatory:

• 5-10 years of hands-on experience in software development with Python and JavaScript (Node.js).
• Proven experience as a technical lead or senior developer on complex, high-stakes projects.
• Strong understanding of system architecture, API design, and integrating machine learning models into production environments.
• Experience managing or mentoring small teams while remaining hands-on with coding.

Nice to Have:

• Professional experience with large language models (LLMs) or AI-driven systems.
• Previous work in the healthcare industry (e.g., medical diagnostics, patient tracking).
• Familiarity with processing and analyzing large datasets, such as medical records.

Required Education & Qualifications
