Security Solution Engineer

What we are looking for:
Swimlane is seeking a Front-End Developer to join our team and work on our core platform! We are looking for an experienced Security Solutions Software Engineer to join our Content development team. This role will report to the Content Engineering Manager and will play an integral role in developing security and IT automation solutions on the Swimlane Turbine platform that will be published to the Swimlane Marketplace.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of an agile software development team using SCRUM practices.
• Develop security and IT automation architectures and workflows that are built on top of the Swimlane Turbine Automation platform.
• Collaborate cross functionally with Product Management, UX, Platform
• Engineering, QA, Sales Engineering, and Professional Services teams to understand and refine solution requirements.
• Develop functionality for normalizing data from third party integrations into common data schemas using Turbine native actions, JavaScript and Python.
• Develop front-end Ul functionality using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
• Document and develop test cases for solutions that will be used for automated testing.

Requirements

• BE / BTech / ME / MTech in Computer Science or technology related degree, or equivalent work experience.
• 8+ years of Software Development or Solutions Architecture and
• Implementation experience.
• Experience with security automation frameworks is a plus.
• Proficiency with JavaScript and Python
• Proficiency with HTML and CSS
• Experience in working with JSON data structures.
• Strong problem solving skills and the ability to deal with complexity and ambiguity.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to convey and relate ideas to others, and work collaboratively to get things done.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with Technical and Business stakeholders.
