Overview:

Join one of Europe’s premier semiconductor start-ups as a pivotal member of the Design for Test (DFT) team. Contribute significantly to the success of Axelera's multicore in-memory-compute SoC by architecting, designing, and implementing cutting-edge testability infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement DFT strategies for multicore in-memory-compute SoC.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of test solutions.

  • Innovate and drive advancements in testability methodologies and infrastructure.

Essential Skills and Requirements:

  • Proven Experience:  Senior-level expertise in Design for Test (DFT) engineering.

  • Programming Proficiency:  Skilled in SystemVerilog RTL, TCL, Python.

  • Unix/Linux Proficiency:  Comfortable working in Unix/Linux environments.

  • Core DFT Skills:

    • Hierarchical scan and scan compression

    • Memory BIST

    • JTAG/IJTAG

    • At-speed test

    • ATPG (Automatic Test Pattern Generation)

    • Fault simulation

    • Back-annotated gate-level verification

    • Silicon debug

  • DFT Tools Experience:  Familiarity with Siemens, Cadence, and/or Synopsys DFT and simulation tools.

  • Problem-Solving:  Exceptional technical problem-solving and debugging skills.

  • Communication:  Fluent in English, both spoken and written.

Desirable Experience and Skills:

  • Standards Knowledge:  Understanding of IEEE standards 1149, 1500, and 1687.

  • Technical Skills:

    • Synthesis flow

    • Exposure to constraints writing and Static Timing Analysis

    • Siemens DFT tools expertise

  • Collaborative Mindset:  Ability to elaborate technical concepts with colleagues.

  • Autonomous Work:  Capable of working independently and managing research tasks.

  • Driven and Responsible:  Strong sense of responsibility and a drive to achieve ambitious goals.

We offer a flexible working arrangement, with options to:

  • Work from one of our Axelera AI offices (Leuven in Belgium, Amsterdam and Eindhoven in the Netherlands, Zurich in Switzerland, Florence and Milan in Italy or Bristol in the United Kingdom) if you're already based in the vicinity.

  • Work fully remotely from any European country (incl. the UK) you are already in.

  • Relocate with us and work from Amsterdam or Eindhoven (Netherlands) or Florence (Italy).
