Job Description

As a Blockchain Trading System Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing a robust trading platform for Solana-based assets. You will work closely with quantitative analysts, risk management teams, and technology experts to create a seamless, scalable, and low-latency trading system.

Key Responsibilities

Trading System Architecture & Development

• Design, build, and deploy a scalable, low-latency trading system on the Solana blockchain.
• Develop the core trading engine, including order management, execution, and routing components.

Integration & Data Handling

• Integrate market data feeds, liquidity providers, and trading venues to ensure seamless connectivity.
• Enable real-time processing and management of market data and order flows.

Performance Optimization

• Implement high-performance coding practices to maximize system efficiency and minimize latency.
• Continuously monitor, test, and refine the system to meet rigorous performance standards.

Risk Management & Compliance

• Incorporate robust risk management, monitoring, and logging mechanisms.
• Collaborate with risk teams to ensure compliance with regulatory and internal standards.

Collaboration & Innovation

• Work closely with quant researchers, risk managers, and IT teams to translate trading strategies into technical solutions.
• Contribute to architectural decisions, technical roadmaps, and innovation efforts.

Maintenance & Troubleshooting

• Proactively identify and resolve issues in the live trading environment.
• Maintain detailed technical documentation and ensure system reliability.

Must-Have Qualifications

Trading System Development Experience

• Proven experience developing trading systems in hedge funds, asset management, or fintech environments.
• Expertise in order execution, liquidity management, and market-making strategies.

Technical Proficiency

• Strong programming skills in C++, Rust, or a similar high-performance language.
• Experience with systems programming, low-latency architectures, and real-time data processing.

Blockchain & Solana Knowledge

• Understanding of blockchain concepts with practical experience in Solana’s network architecture and APIs.
• Ability to integrate trading systems with blockchain networks.

Problem-Solving & Analytical Skills

• Strong ability to analyze complex systems and troubleshoot performance issues in high-stakes trading environments.

Communication & Collaboration

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with algorithmic trading, quantitative research, or financial market data systems.
