The team

Our team is focused on creating secure, user-friendly, and innovative solutions in the self-custody wallet space. As we expand, we are looking for a crypto native Staff Software Engineer to join our full stack engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our codebases across both React Native and Node. Your expertise in building scalable and high-performance applications will directly contribute to the success of our platform as you direct a team of full stack engineers. You will stay up-to-date on new technologies and trends, conduct thorough research and evaluation to ensure that the system remains at the forefront of the industry.

The opportunity

  • Design, develop, and maintain high-quality web & mobile applications using ReactJS & React Native

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product, Design, and Backend Engineering, to deliver high-impact features and improvements

  • Drive the technical vision and direction of the company's Onchain applications by participating in architectural decisions and technology evaluations

  • Identify, analyze, and resolve complex technical challenges across multiple domains and technology stacks

  • Contribute to the development of best practices and engineering standards to ensure the highest quality of code

  • Mentor and guide junior and senior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our mobile applications remain current and competitive 

  • Shape major open source initiatives, driving innovation and collaboration

Skills you should HODL

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience

  • 8+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on web and mobile applications

  • Deep understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript and expertise with ReactJS & React Native frameworks

  • Deep understanding of iOS and Android SDKs, as well as experience with native development (Objective-C/Swift/Java/Kotlin)

  • Hands-on experience in blockchain or web3 applications, familiar with EVM and contract interaction details

  • Experience with API design, security, and performance optimization

  • Familiarity with modern build pipelines and tooling and testing frameworks

  • Strong understanding of UI/UX best practices and principles

  • Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English

Nice to haves

  • 10+ years of full-time engineering experience within a large technology organization or fast growing startup

  • Experience in leading or managing engineering teams

  • Contributions to open-source projects or published technical articles
