Our platform operates on Nexcess and Vercel, combining Magento with modern frameworks like Next.js. We are looking for a skilled Senior Project Engineer & Manager to lead and execute development initiatives, ensuring a high-performance and scalable platform.

Job Summary:

As a Senior Project Engineer & Manager, you will oversee the technical architecture and execution of our eCommerce B-to-C platform. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless development, deployment, and scalability. The ideal candidate has strong experience in Node.js, React, Next.js, and Magento, with full-stack expertise being a plus. You will also manage development timelines, prioritize tasks, and collaborate with stakeholders to meet business goals. Consumer products/Wine industry and marketplace development desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

· Oversee and manage the development of our eCommerce marketplace, ensuring high performance and scalability.

· Develop and maintain software solutions using Node.js, React, Next.js, and Magento.

· Manage project timelines, development sprints, and cross-functional collaboration.

· Work closely with designers, developers, and product teams to implement new features and enhancements. Ability to generate creative solutions.

· Optimize platform performance, security, and scalability.

· Lead code reviews and ensure best practices in software development.

· Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges efficiently.

· Stay updated on emerging eCommerce and web development trends.

Qualifications:

· 5+ years of experience in software engineering and project management.

· Expertise in Node.js, React, Next.js, and Magento.

· Experience with full-stack development is a plus.

· Strong understanding of eCommerce platforms and cloud-based infrastructures.

· Proficiency in managing development projects, timelines, and team coordination.

· Ability to troubleshoot and optimize high-traffic applications.

· Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

· Strong team management skills required.

· Proven capability to complete projects on schedule.

Preferred Qualifications:

· Experience with Nexcess and Vercel hosting solutions.

· Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.

· Understanding of API integrations and microservices architecture.

· Knowledge of SEO best practices for eCommerce.
