Job Description

šŸŒæ About OllyGarden

At OllyGarden, we're on a mission to help observability engineers cultivate healthier telemetry pipelinesā€”turning raw data into actionable insights that help companies prune unnecessary costs, nurture efficient workflows, and grow software reliability.

Just like a well-tended garden, great observability requires balance, care, and the right tools. We're building a diverse, remote-first team that transforms observability into a flourishing ecosystem for engineers worldwide.

As a Frontend Engineer, youā€™ll be a key gardener in our product development, designing and cultivating intuitive interfaces that help observability engineers harvest insights effortlessly.

šŸŒ¼ About the Role

šŸŒ± Responsibilities

  • Sow the seeds of innovation by owning the frontend aspects of our products, collaborating closely with founders and product designers to shape each new growth cycle.
  • Cultivate deep roots with design partners and customers, gathering feedback to refine the user experience and help them navigate their telemetry landscape more effectively.
  • Tend to the UI, ensuring a seamless integration between the frontend and our backend systems.
  • Contribute to the OpenTelemetry ecosystem, helping the broader observability community grow stronger.

šŸŒ³ What Weā€™re Looking For

  • Proficiency in React.js, Next.js, or Vue.jsā€”your primary tools for crafting lush, interactive experiences.
  • A keen eye for data visualization, turning complex observability metrics into beautifully arranged dashboards.
  • Empathy for highly technical users, creating an experience that feels as natural as walking through a well-tended garden.
  • A strong sense of observability and monitoring, knowing that bugs are weeds best removed earlyā€”whether by using PostHog, feature flags, or automated testing.
  • Curiosity to explore new tools and techniques, especially those that can help fertilize productivity, like Lovable.dev or Bolt.new.
  • Rooted in either Latin America or Europe.

šŸƒ Bonus Points

  • Experience with B2B SaaS products, especially developer tools.
  • Passion for open-source communities, contributing to shared knowledge and collaborative growth.
  • Enthusiasm for public speaking, helping others cultivate their understanding of observability at international conferences.

šŸŒ What We Offer

  • Equity optionsā€”helping you grow along with us.
  • A remote-first work environmentā€”because great gardens thrive in all climates.
  • Opportunities to work with industry leaders in observability.
  • A learning and development budgetā€”so you can always plant new knowledge.
