Summary
Anaconda is seeking a talented Sr. Director, IT Operations to join our rapidly-growing company. This is an excellent opportunity for you to leverage your experience and skills and apply it to the world of data science, artificial intelligence, and machine learning.
What You’ll Do:
- Develop and implement IT operations strategies that support business goals and enhance operational efficiency.
- Establish IT governance frameworks, policies, and best practices to optimize service delivery and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to align IT initiatives with organizational priorities.
- Evaluate and implement emerging technologies to drive business transformation and digital innovation.
- Oversee IT infrastructure
- Lead IT service management (ITSM) efforts, ensuring SLAs, uptime, and performance metrics are met.
- Manage IT asset lifecycle, capacity planning, and disaster recovery strategies
- Partner with security teams to implement robust cybersecurity strategies, protecting data and systems from threats.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2) and industry best practices.
- Drive risk management initiatives and implement security controls to safeguard IT assets.
- Manage IT budgets, optimize costs, and ensure ROI on IT investments..
What You Need:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred
- Proven experience in IT management and procurement roles, with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
- Experience with Atlassian tools such as Jira Service Desk, Jira Software, and Confluence.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities, with a track record of effectively leading teams and driving results.
- Familiarity with procurement best practices, contract management, and supplier relationship management
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance requirements in IT and procurement.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to identify opportunities for process improvement and cost optimization

The US base salary range for this role is $170,250-$278,896 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed in each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations.
Within the range, individual compensation is determined by various factors, including work location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter will provide more specific details on the salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
