Engineering Manager, Backend Development (Remote - Europe)

At Prezi, we’re transforming how people share ideas by building AI-driven presentation tools that empower millions of users worldwide. As part of our Backend Development team, you’ll lead key services that integrate advanced AI models, improving the user experience while working with a highly skilled, remote team. What You’ll Do:
  • Lead a talented backend team, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and technical innovation.
  • Architect and enhance scalable, high-performance services that power Prezi’s AI-driven features, ensuring efficiency and reliability for millions of users.
  • Collaborate closely with AI, product, and frontend teams to implement cutting-edge AI models, optimizing our backend systems for future growth.
  • Take hands-on leadership in solving complex technical challenges, while mentoring your team to achieve technical excellence.
Who We’re Looking For:
  • A passionate backend leader with expertise in functional programming (kudos for Scala) or static typed languages (Java, C#), and experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS).
  • Excited about leading a team focused on AI-driven projects and backend scalability challenges.
  • A natural mentor and leader, with a commitment to fostering innovation and growth within your team.
