Job Overview
We are in search of a dynamic Fan Marketing Manager who will be pivotal in driving fan engagement and maximizing ticket sales for our premier events, The Basketball Tournament (TBT) and The Soccer Tournament (TST). This remote role (with a preference for candidates based in Boston) offers the unique opportunity to design and implement strategic marketing campaigns that resonate with sports enthusiasts and create memorable experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Formulate and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to enhance ticket sales and fan interaction for TBT and TST.
- Collaborate with creative teams to produce engaging, mission-driven campaigns across various platforms.
- Utilize data-driven insights to optimize marketing channels and refine campaign messaging.
- Manage financial resources efficiently to ensure optimal return on investment for marketing initiatives.
- Maintain an organized marketing calendar that aligns with ticket sales objectives and fan engagement activities.
- Develop customized marketing toolkits for host partners and team entrants to support their ticket sales efforts.
- Innovate and implement strategies to broaden our fanbase and enhance engagement.
- Build relationships with local soccer clubs, schools, community organizations, and influencers to boost event visibility.
- Create and manage email marketing campaigns aimed at nurturing leads and driving ticket sales.
- Analyze CRM data to understand fan behavior and improve retention and ticket conversion strategies.
- Foster partnerships that expand our audience reach and introduce diverse groups to our events.
- Serve as the primary contact for key partnerships, ensuring alignment on mutual goals and ticketing objectives.
Required Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Sports Management, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in marketing within the sports, entertainment, or events sectors.
- Proven success in fan or event marketing, particularly in multi-tier ticket sales.
- Proficiency in managing marketing calendars, email campaigns, and CRM systems.
- Strong analytical abilities coupled with excellent project management and communication skills.
