A dynamic opportunity has emerged for a Senior Product Marketing Manager to lead the product marketing strategy and cross-product projects within the Messaging portfolio.

About The Role

The hiring company is on the lookout for a passionate and experienced Senior Product Marketing Manager to join a global product marketing team. Reporting to the Product Marketing Director of Messaging, the individual will be responsible for owning the product marketing strategy and positioning, and will play a crucial role in driving the go-to-market (GTM) strategy for key audiences.

Responsibilities

Market Analysis & Strategy

- Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and the competitive landscape within the business messaging market.

- Define target audience segments and tailor strategies to address their specific pain points and goals.

- Drive initiatives and manage cross-functional projects to implement strategies.

- Engage with industry analysts for market research and positioning.

Go-to-Market Planning and Execution

- Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for Messaging products, ensuring timely and successful launches.

- Connect roadmaps across the Messaging product line to create compelling value propositions that support cross-sell and upsell.

- Collaborate with product managers and product design (UX) to create a seamless user experience across Messaging products.

- Work alongside product management, sales, and marketing teams to align strategies and prioritize initiatives.

- Empower the sales team to communicate value propositions and develop sales tools to support the selling of enterprise Messaging products.

Messaging & Positioning

- Create clear, compelling value propositions and messaging for the Messaging product line that resonate with key customer segments, industry analysts, and media.

- Identify market trends and define communication themes to position the company as a leading solution provider in the identified segment.

- Support field marketing, brand marketing, and PR teams to deliver tailored campaigns for successful leadership positioning within identified market trends and customer pain points, as well as cross-sell and upsell.

- Develop presentations and create enablement materials including product one-pagers, presentations, case studies, and FAQs.

- Serve as the spokesperson for customer experience and messaging by delivering presentations in webinars, events, and educational sessions with internal and external audiences.

Content Development

- Produce high-quality content such as blogs, webinars, white-papers, and videos to promote Messaging solutions and position the company as a leader in addressing key challenges in business Messaging communications.

- Partner with content and SEO experts to design content strategies that enhance the company's visibility in search engine results for key industry topics.

Customer Advocacy

- Collaborate with account teams to identify and showcase customer success stories.

- Use customer insights to refine messaging and identify industry trends.

- Implement a campaign solution and customer-centric approach in sales and marketing to grow customer satisfaction, increase deal value, and support cross-sell and upsell.

Performance Measurement

- Track and report on the performance of marketing initiatives, using data to inform future strategies.

- Monitor and analyze product adoption metrics and customer feedback to drive continuous improvement.

Requirements

- 7+ years in product marketing within technology companies (candidates who believe they are a strong fit for this role but do not meet this criterion are encouraged to apply).

- Experience in the CPaaS, telecommunications industry, or with customer communication tools.

- Proven ability to take initiative, work independently, and drive projects forward with minimal supervision.

- Skill in identifying opportunities, overcoming challenges, and delivering results in dynamic and fast-paced environments.

- A demonstrated track record of quickly adapting to new roles, processes, and tools, contributing effectively from day one.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to simplify technical concepts.

- Proven capability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.

- Willingness to travel if necessary.

- Must be located in Eastern Standard Time.

Salary Range

The annual starting salary for this position ranges from $132,385.00 to $165,481.00, based on factors such as geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications.
