About the role:
As a Product Manager – Compliance & Interoperability at PointClickCare, you are responsible for the successful delivery of compliance and interoperability products and functionality that create compelling value for our users and customers and drive strategic growth for the company. In this role, you collaborate closely with engineering and maintain a healthy backlog for compliance and interoperability products. You contribute to the product roadmap and effortlessly handle both tactical and strategic work for your product area. You are comfortable interacting with external users and work cross functionally with internal stakeholders to innovate and solve customer problems. You approach your work with natural curiosity and use your growth mindset to maximize ROI for your products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understand company strategy and how it connects to the strategy of your product areas.
- Become the product expert for your areas of responsibility, including product functionality and how the product creates value for the customer and user.
- Serve as the voice of the customer to a scrum team inclusive of engineering and UX, partnering with engineering leads to manage ceremonies associated with product delivery.
- Maintain a prioritized backlog and write user stories, acceptance criteria, and other artifacts to support engineering teams in delivering on compliance and interoperability priorities.
- Continuously assess ways to improve products and services.
- Identify, communicate, and bring the right people together to manage risks timely and effectively.
- Engage with User Experience, Engineering, Technical Writers, Regulatory and other product managers, leveraging modern agile processes and Design Thinking and ensure concepts are valuable and feasible.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Your Key Strengths:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, or a healthcare-related field of study.
- 3+ years of experience in a product management function
- Strong written and oral communication skills with internal and external stakeholders
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills and task management
- Demonstrated ability to manage products, innovation, and a general curiosity and drive for building great products.
- Experience working with healthcare data, audit or compliance solutions, including standards such as FHIR and HL7. Work experience with Health Plans, EHRs, National Frameworks, and Long Term Post-Acute providers is a plus
- Knowledge of Agile processes is required and familiarity with Design Thinking is a plus.
