Job Description

Engineering Program Manager (12-month contract // Team based in North Haven, CT):

NO THIRD-PARTY CANDIDATES WILL CONSIDERED. W2 ONLY*

There is a strong preference for candidates based in NH/CT that can work partial on site, but the team is open to a highly qualified PM in a remote capacity

Top 3 Skills:

  1. Engagement with project managers, OU’s, manufacturing sites, and GO&SC functional groups to communicate and align post release projects across the business.
  2. Utilize Planisware and standard Microsoft tools to manage, update, and communicate with teams for multiple projects.
  3. Lead the GO&SC RPM governance process within a portfolio to align priorities and resources.

Education Required: Bachelor’s degree and project management experience

Years’ Experience Required: 5 years of experience as a Project/Program Manager

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Leading one or multiple projects in the post-market space
  • Leading core team(s) and working through day to day issues to ensure project deliverables are met
  • Cross-functional collaboration and ensuring KPI’s and financial targets are achieved.

Target Years of Experience: Minimum 5 years in actual project/program management role. 10+ preferred.

Duties:

  • Oversees operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management.
  • Manages the development and implementation process of a company's products and services involving departmental or cross functional teams focused on the delivery of new or existing products.
  • Reviews status of projects and budgets; and prepares status reports.
  • Monitors the project from initiation through delivery.
  • Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client satisfaction goals and objectives.
  • Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.

Must Have:

  • Medical Device Project Management experience
  • Project/Program Management

Nice To Have:

  • 10 + years experience of Medical Device project management
