THE CHALLENGE
Eventbrite has built its business on empowering event creators with solutions to enable their success. In the process, we have touched millions of consumers, helping them get together, explore their interests, and pursue their passions through live experiences. Now, we’re embarking on a journey to make Eventbrite the go-to destination for consumers looking to discover live events.
To help us deliver on this ambitious vision, we are on the hunt for an energetic Senior Product Manager who puts the customer first, is passionate about user experience, and lives and breathes data to make decisions. Sounds like you? Let’s talk.
THE TEAM
You’ll be joining a global team of experienced and talented Product Managers, Engineers and Designers who are focused on building a product that empowers and enables customers to participate in great live experiences. We are passionate about live events, motivated, collaborative, and a fun-loving team responsible for a high-growth, global business.
THE ROLE
An easy and intuitive refund experience is critical to any marketplace, yet most refund processes today are frustrating, confusing, and inefficient for both sellers and buyers. When the purchase is for a time-sensitive, ephemeral product—like an event ticket—the stakes are even higher.
As the Product Manager for Refunds and Order Changes, you will define the vision and strategy for transforming this often-painful experience into a seamless, user-friendly process that becomes a competitive advantage for Eventbrite. You’ll lead a cross-functional team to execute a roadmap that simplifies refunds and transfers, delighting both event organizers and attendees while driving engagement and retention.
You’ll collaborate closely with engineers, designers, policy experts, and fellow product managers across Eventbrite to build a high-quality product that enhances trust and reliability in our marketplace. This is a unique opportunity to shape a critical aspect of our consumer experience, directly impacting millions of event-goers and organizers, and strengthening Eventbrite as the go-to platform for discovering and attending live events.
YOU WILL
- Define clear vision & strategy, set OKRs and support your product team in understanding customer/ stakeholder pain points and requirements, develop strong roadmaps and executing on them
- Lead the ideation, research, design, development and launch of user-centric marketplace products
- Understand user needs; identify and define product requirements using data and metrics to inform your strategy and success criteria
- Create clear goals for the team. Drive product development with a world-class team of Engineers, Designers and Analysts to deliver impact for our business and users.
- Work cross-functionally with experts across the organization and collaborate with stakeholders and engineers, as well as partners in policy, legal, and operations.
THE SKILLSET
- 5-7 years of product management experience
- Self-starter with proven track record of execution and results
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally, collaborate, influence and work as part of a team
- Data-driven, analytical problem solver
- User-first mindset with experience in user research and testing
