Overview:
Are you a proactive problem-solver with a passion for technology, customer engagement, and delivering impactful solutions? As a Solution Consultant, you’ll play a critical role in bridging technical expertise, solutions consulting to design and implement innovative RFID and digital solutions. This role combines Solution sales, pre-sales consulting, solution design, and POC/Pilot delivery, ensuring seamless execution across the customer value chain.
In this position, you’ll leverage your ability to analyze complex challenges, craft tailored solutions, and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders, delivering measurable business impact. Your expertise in scoping the customer requirements, RFID systems, hardware-software integration, and IT infrastructure will position you as a key contributor to our digital transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Pre-Sales & Customer Engagement:
Drive Solution sales with customer organization and move the opportunity towards conversion.
Serve as a technical advisor during pre-sales, collaborating with sales teams to craft compelling solution proposals and presentations.
Serve as technical expert on RFID Solutions and provide advice to internal teams and customers.
Respond to RFPs by drafting clear, solution-oriented documentation that demonstrates technical and business alignment.
Responsible for onboarding customer IT teams into AD System & Solutions.
Deliver engaging presentations to customers, effectively translating technical concepts into business value.
Collaborate with the internal Product development and Delivery team to get all necessary information required for building the Technical Proposal.
Build and maintain strong customer relationships by addressing concerns proactively and ensuring exceptional service.
Customer communication coordination for opportunities assigned account lead.
Solution Design & Problem Solving:
Understanding of the customer business problem and scoping the requirements.
Design and implement RFID/digital solutions tailored to customer needs, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and standards.
Maintain a strong understanding of the RFID/IoT ecosystem, including key vendors, solutions, and emerging trends.
Conduct Site study at customer sites for feasibility analysis & conduct Proof of concept.
Lead technical discussions with customer IT teams, providing guidance on integration strategies and data exchange architectures.
Develop IT architectures, including network setups, security configurations, firewalls, and remote access setups.
Act as a problem solver, proactively addressing implementation challenges and ensuring smooth execution.
Project Delivery & Execution:
Manage POC & Pilot implementation of RFID/digital solutions across value chain, addressing on-ground challenges.
Identify dependencies, constraints, and risks, developing mitigation strategies to ensure timely delivery.
Ensure all documentation, including Technical Design Documents (TDD) and Interface Design Specifications (IDS), is well-organized and comprehensive.
Work with the customer team to ensure the success criteria for the POC/Pilot is validated towards Project Roll-out.
Hands-On Implementation & Quality Assurance:
Participate in on-site activities, including system setup, testing, and commissioning, to ensure solutions meet customer expectations.
Lead integration efforts with customer systems, ensuring compatibility and operational readiness.
Conduct system integration testing with customer IT teams, validating performance benchmarks and data flows.
Oversee data exchange processes, ensuring security and efficiency.
Collaboration & Process Optimization:
Work closely with sales, delivery, and product teams to streamline workflows and achieve project goals.
Mentor team members by sharing knowledge, building capabilities, and fostering a collaborative culture.
Drive continuous improvement by implementing best practices and enhancing solution scalability.
