The Group Product Manager leads a product team working on a group of products or user experiences from concept to launch. This position acts as both a coach and a player, overseeing and managing a product team while also contributing to the work of the product team as needed.

Position Information: This is a regular, full-time position, reporting to Product Management Director 

 

Compensation: Base pay is anticipated to be between $117,438 and $150,000 per year. Eligible employees may also receive incentive/commission/annual bonus pay based on individual and/or company performance. Compensation may vary based on factors such as, but not limited to, individual skills, experience, training, education/certifications, geographic location, internal equity, and local market conditions.

 

Location: In this US-based position your location will be remote. If you live in the Phoenix/Tempe area, a hybrid-remote work schedule would be required. 

 

Travel: You can also expect up to approximately 20% travel, so be sure you have a valid driver’s license and automobile insurance and a clean driving record for at least the preceding 39 months.

Envision Your Experience.

In this role you’ll have the opportunity to:

  • Lead and mentor product managers, associate product managers, business analysts, and others who are responsible for advancing technical product needs. 
  • Coach and manage employees while providing meaningful feedback on an ongoing basis. Proactively support employee development in addition to providing appropriate training and counsel.  
  • Champion and steward positivity, creative solutioning, and innovation within the product team and company. 
  • Aid the product team in determining the market need, vision, and strategy for the domain area to build against. 
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with Engineering, Product Design, and Curriculum Development. 
  • Articulate and manage a multi-year roadmap for multiple product areas. 
  • Lead the creation and refinement of requirements documentation for various stages of Program Increment Planning. 
  • Lead product enhancements, thinking through each detail and delivering solid results. 
  • Facilitate purposeful feedback gathering initiatives with internal customers to inform product work. 
  • Other duties as required. 

 

Share Your Expertise.

Experience, education, and qualifications essential for success in this role, include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in sales, marketing, or business and 5 years of experience in product management; or a compatible combination of education and experience. 
  • A high degree of technical fluency. 
  • Demonstrated experience as team lead or manager.  
  • Advanced communication and interpersonal skills, including persuasive abilities, effective listening, diplomacy and tact, and collaboration. 
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills including the ability to effectively multi-task while meeting deadlines. 
  • Strategic ability to anticipate future opportunities and consequences and a demonstrated ability to prioritize work. 
  • Ability to work independently but also operate efficiently and effectively within a collaborative team environment. 
  • Willingness and ability to travel as needed, up to 20%.
