Description:

We are seeking a talented UX Designer to join our Product Experience team consisting of talented UX designers and UI Designers. You will create user personas, journey maps, user flows, and wireframes based on user research findings. Collaborating with Product Managers, researchers and developers, you will design features for GolfNow products while advocating for user-centered design principles. The ideal candidate has experience with web and mobile applications and strong communication skills. You are an advocate of user-centered design, balancing qualitative and quantitative data when designing the best possible experience that meets business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with Product Experience, Product Management, and Engineering teams to design usable products for GolfNow.
  • Understand business objectives and user needs.
  • Create information architecture, personas, storyboards, and user flows.
  • Initiate & participate in sketching sessions with Product Managers and fellow designers.
  • Produce UX deliverables, including wireframes, prototypes, and specifications.
  • Help initiate and coordinate testing efforts with research team.
  • Gather feedback from Marketing, Commerce, and other business units.
  • Design for mobile and responsive web while keeping accessibility in mind.
  • Communicate clearly and think quickly.

Qualifications

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Computer Interaction, Human Factors, Information Architecture, Design, or related field.
  • 3+ years of professional experience as a UX or Interaction Designer.
  • Experience in digital media.
  • Experience with transactional and ecommerce platforms.
  • Knowledge of Apple (HIG) Human Interface Guidelines and Google Material Design.
  • Understand W3C web and accessibility standards.
  • Expert in design tools, including Figma.
  • Experience with continuous design, A/B testing and iteration.
  • Professional portfolio or UX work samples.

Preferred:

  • Prior experience designing for e-commerce applications
  • Passion for golf and knowledge of the game
