About the Company

Client is a recently founded app development company focused on building Mixify, an AI-powered photo editing app with social features. To accelerate our development, we are looking for an experienced iOS developer to join our team and collaborate closely with our existing part-time iOS developer.

Role Overview

We are seeking a Swift/UIKit iOS Developer to help bring Mixify to life. You will be responsible for implementing new features, refining UI/UX, and ensuring smooth functionality in the app. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and able to implement pixel-perfect UI designs from Figma.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and optimize the iOS application using Swift and UIKit
  • Ensure a pixel-perfect UI implementation based on Figma designs
  • Work closely with the existing iOS developer and founders to refine app features
  • Integrate the app seamlessly with the Node.js/Python backend and Supabase database
  • Debug and troubleshoot issues to enhance app performance and stability
  • Communicate effectively and provide regular updates on progress

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in iOS development with Swift and UIKit
  • Strong understanding of UI/UX best practices and responsive design
  • Experience working with RESTful APIs and backend integration
  • Proficiency in debugging and optimizing iOS applications
  • Strong English communication skills (verbal & written)
  • Ability to work independently and in collaboration with a remote team

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

  • Familiarity with Node.js, Python, and Supabase
  • Previous experience developing photo editing applications
  • Knowledge of Android development (not required, but a plus)
