About the Role
The Consumer Email Marketing Manager plays a critical role in expanding access to life-changing mental health care among our members (consumers) by designing, building, and executing strategic, high-performing email marketing programs. In this role, you will work closely with members of our Consumer Marketing Team to grow awareness, build trust, and drive engagement with Lyra members by creating, scheduling, executing, analyzing, and optimizing member-facing email campaigns. This is an individual contributor role.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and lead execution of member-facing automated broad campaigns as well as ad hoc, custom campaigns
- Work collaboratively with our Consumer Marketing, Customer Marketing, Content, Marketing Design, and Analytics teams to execute your plans and ensure campaigns are achieving their objectives
- Partner closely with our Data Engineering team to create campaign audience targets and ensure their accuracy
- Regularly analyze and report out on performance of your email programs, and develop insights and recommendations on how to improve campaign performance
- Establish an experimentation framework to constantly test subject lines, copy, imagery, send date/time, etc. to optimize conversion rates
- Identify ways to create efficiencies in our email processes to reduce manual work and drive scalability
- Develop strategies to address deliverability issues to maximize reach
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of B2C marketing experience, with at least five years of email marketing experience
- Expertise building and executing campaigns within email marketing systems, preferably Salesforce Marketing Cloud
- Experience partnering with data engineers to create and QA audience targets
- Strong email HTML and SQL skills
- Ability to think outside the box to develop new, innovative email campaign ideas and content
- Data-driven and analytical skills — you’re able to effectively analyze and communicate data to drive high-value, actionable insights
- Strong internal collaboration skills that show you know how to sell through your strategy and partner well with cross-functional stakeholders to launch campaigns effectively
- Experience handling aggressive deadlines, keeping many balls in the air, and prioritizing work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- A team first attitude with strong self-awareness to openly share and receive feedback and to always pursue learning and improving
