This is a hands-on, strategic role ideal for a social expert who's ready to shape a high-performing team while evolving into a broader leadership position. What You'll Own
- Strategy & Leadership
- Lead development of platform-specific strategies (LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Reddit, etc.) to meet client goals
- Manage and mentor a growing team of creators, community managers, and social strategists
- Build systems for consistency, quality, and performance measurement
- Define what "great" looks like in organic social
- Creative Oversight
- Oversee content calendars, campaign concepts, and storytelling across multiple client verticals
- Ensure brand voice, messaging, and visual consistency across all channels
- Partner with design and video teams to produce native-first, scroll-stopping content
- Analytics & Optimization
- Define KPIs for reach, engagement, traffic, and conversions
- Use data to guide content iterations and strategy adjustments
- Deliver monthly and quarterly reports with actionable insights
- Cross-Functional Impact
- Work closely with Paid Media, SEO, and Strategy teams to align messaging and campaign performance
- Provide thought leadership in client meetings as the organic social expert
- Identify growth opportunities across platforms and trends to test and deploy
- AI + Innovation in Social
- Leverage tools like ChatGPT, Copy.ai, Later AI, and Canva Magic to scale ideation and streamline workflows
- Explore automation tools for publishing, reporting, and performance tuning
- Stay informed on AI-related content trends, regulations, and ethics
- 7+ years of experience in social media strategy and execution
- 3+ years managing social or creative teams
- Proven success growing brand presence across major platforms (especially LinkedIn, Instagram, and TikTok)
- Strong copywriting and storytelling instincts
- Deep understanding of algorithms, content trends, and performance metrics
- Experience with tools like Sprout Social, Later, Hootsuite, or Buffer
- Bonus: influencer marketing, social commerce, or community building experience
- Must be based in Austin or willing to relocate (hybrid schedule requires in-person presence
- Base Salary: $90K-$108K (based on experience)
- Bonus: up to 5% annual performance bonus
