The Account Manager, Enterprise MarketPay, is responsible for the retention, timely renewal, and upsell expansion of MarketPay clients within their defined book of business. Prior experience selling HCM SaaS software into the Enterprise space is highly preferred. We currently have over 900 MarketPay customers and are proud to call some of the world's most successful organizations customers of our compensation platform.
We are looking for business athletes who are ideal team players - hungry, humble, and smart - with the ability and willingness to collaborate with their CSM partners to upsell into the existing MarketPay client base while also successfully renewing those who have expiring contracts. You must have strong business value presentation skills and be comfortable presenting to human resources professionals and c-suite execs, who are current Payscale users. Your results will be measured individually (quota), and part of a larger team KPI (Key performance indicators) roll-up. Retention is the life blood of our business, but your role will be to grow each customer with new compensation data sets, software, and services.
This role serves clients with 1,000-7,499 employees and less than $100,000 in ARR.
In this role, you will:
- Drive successful and on time renewals as well as upsells
- Generate business opportunities through collaborating with CSMs, professional networking, customer MQLs, etc.
- Drive brand awareness, campaigns, and lead generation via networking, associations, etc.
- Meet and exceed all quarterly and annual retention and growth quotas
- Own the commercial components of the renewal and upsell cycles - from lead generation to closure
- Develop a territory business plan working closely with assigned CSMs
- Maintain account and pipeline opportunity forecasting within Salesforce.com
- Maintain account and renewal updates/status in Gainsight
Qualifications
- A proven, customer-centric, collaborative, HR SaaS Account Manager with experience driving revenue growth and executing on renewals across an existing customer base
- 5+ years of HR/Compensation software sales experience & a BA/BS degree strongly preferred
- Strong preference for Human Capital Management sales experience (compensation, talent management, benefit technologies, etc.)
- Proven track record of sales and renewals excellence
- Knowledge of territory/accounts assigned preferred
- Be able to work independently, take initiative, and manage performance accordingly
- Superior professional presence and business acumen
- Experience selling at the "C" level (CHROs a plus) and to other HR persona
Compensation
In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share the OTE for this position is $240,000. This OTE is made up of a target base compensation of $120,000 and commissions target of $120,000. If you are hired at Payscale, your final compensation will be determined based on factors such as skills, education, and/or experience. In addition to those factors – we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider any internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer.
