About this role
We’re hiring a Freelance Graphic Designer to collaborate on design projects across digital and print formats. You will be responsible for creating visually compelling assets that communicate complex ideas clearly and support clients’ marketing initiatives while aligning with clients’ brand guidelines.
This is the perfect role for someone experienced in graphic design for digital platforms and print, particularly for B2B software companies. We’re a fully distributed company and thrive on autonomy.
Examples of projects you’ll work on
- Create engaging visual designs for social media platforms, ensuring brand consistency across various channels.
- Design PDFs (e.g., ebooks, whitepapers, reports) that align with both the client’s and Omniscient Digital’s brand standards.
- Lead the design of print magazines, collaborating with our editorial team to create visually stunning layouts.
- Develop custom diagrams from rough sketches and concepts, conveying complex ideas simply and effectively.
- Manage multiple design projects concurrently, delivering high-quality assets on time.
- Collaborate with marketing and editorial teams to ensure visuals complement the written content and the overall strategy.
Who you are
- You have a strong portfolio showcasing a range of design work, from digital assets (e.g., social media images) to print (e.g., magazines or reports).
- You’re highly proficient in tools like Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop) and Figma.
- You have a keen eye for detail and are able to translate rough ideas into polished, professional designs.
- You’re an excellent communicator who can interpret feedback and incorporate it into your designs.
- You’re able to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously without compromising on quality.
- You enjoy collaborating with cross-functional teams, including marketers, writers, and editors, to produce beautiful designs.
- You’re comfortable with both digital and print design and understand the nuances of designing for each medium.
- You learn from your mistakes and develop new skills and competencies. You’re agile, you learn as you go, and you ask for/give help when needed. You “make the road by walking.”
- You are comfortable taking full ownership of your projects.
