About the role
Are you passionate about crafting high-performing ad creatives that convert? Do you have an eye for design and a knack for understanding what drives engagement and clicks? We’re searching for a Digital Paid Media Designer to take our paid media efforts to the next level.
This person will play a pivotal role in shaping the visual identity of our ad campaigns, working closely with our Paid Ads team to create compelling and high-converting digital assets. Your work will directly impact customer acquisition and revenue growth, making you an essential part of one of the company’s most important departments.
Your main responsibilities will include:
🎨 Creating high-converting static and animated ad creatives for Meta, YouTube, TikTok, and other paid media platforms
🤝 Support video editors with graphic and motion design support
📊 Designing and iterating on ad creatives based on data-driven performance insights
📐 Adapting and resizing assets for multiple platforms while maintaining design integrity
🎥 Working closely with video editors to ensure seamless integration of graphics and animations into video ads
🖌️ Developing custom illustrations to enhance ad creatives and brand storytelling
🔄 Animating assets to create eye-catching motion graphics and GIFs optimized for digital ads
🔍 Staying ahead of industry trends and best practices for ad creatives in paid media
📂 Organizing and managing a creative asset library for easy access and reuse
⚡ Developing templates and design systems to improve efficiency and maintain brand consistency
📝 Collaborating with the Paid Ads team to brainstorm creative strategies and test new ideas
📈 Analyzing performance metrics to optimize designs and improve conversion rates
Working Hours ⏰: This is a full-time role with at least a 4-hour overlap with the PST timezone.
About you
To excel in this role, you need:
✅ 3+ years of experience in digital design, with a focus on paid media, advertising, or eCommerce
✅ A strong portfolio showcasing ad creatives optimized for conversion across Meta, YouTube, TikTok, and other platforms
✅ Expertise in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects)
✅ Experience with motion graphics and animation for ad creatives (GIFs, short-form video ads)
✅ Proficiency in creating engaging illustrations to enhance digital marketing efforts
✅ Understanding of paid media best practices and the ability to design assets optimized for performance
✅ Strong typography, layout, and composition skills to create visually appealing and high-converting designs
✅ The ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced, iterative environment
✅ A data-driven mindset, using analytics to refine and improve ad creative effectiveness
Brownie points for:
⭐ Experience working with health and wellness brands
⭐ Familiarity with eCommerce and direct-response advertising
⭐ Experience designing for U.S.-based eCommerce companies running paid social campaigns
