Job Description
Are you a college freshman-senior (or recent grad)? Join the Cult for the summer: June 2 - August 8, 2025.
(Note: office will be closed in observance of Juneteenth on Thursday, June 19th, and for Independence Day on July 4th & July 7th.)
Our Internship Program will seek candidates to work on-site in our newly renovated NYC office, three (3) days a week: Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Thursdays. (Mondays and Fridays will generally be remote, although we need you to be flexible.) Candidates who are selected to participate will need to be available for the entire 10 week program.
Compensation: $22/hour (based on a 40-hour work week)
(Interns are non-exempt employees, eligible for overtime pay @1.5 times their regular pay rate. Overtime is considered any work completed beyond the typical 40-hour work week, and requires manager approval before going into overtime hours.)
ART OR COPYWRITING
Role
Be a member of our Creative Department for the summer by diving into one of two intern roles that suit you best:
If you're an aspiring copywriter, you'll work with an art partner and a senior copywriter to come up with modern and compelling ideas, and write engaging advertising copy that communicates those ideas across a wide variety of media channels.
If you're an aspiring art director/designer, you'll work with a copywriter and a senior art director to create and design visual concepts that will result in memorable advertising campaigns.
Opportunities May Include
Now it’s your turn. Combine the words candle and sunflower. Sketch at least 10 ideas, each on its own sheet of paper. Submit your three favorite ideas. If needed, include short descriptions.
