About The Role At Blinkist, you'll join one of our cross-functional Mission Teams, dedicated to revolutionizing how millions of people discover and absorb insights from the world's best non-fiction books. What You Will Do

• Develop and maintain impactful features across our stack using TypeScript/JavaScript and Ruby .

• Partner closely with product and design teams to craft intuitive, user-friendly experiences.

• Write clean, scalable, and testable code that supports a growing global audience.

• Participate in code reviews , providing thoughtful feedback and shaping key technical decisions.

• Work with modern technologies like Vue.js , Node.js , and Ruby on Rails , staying at the forefront of innovation.

What You Need To Have

• 3+ years of experience in full-stack web and backend development

• Strong foundation in TypeScript/JavaScript and hands-on with modern frontend frameworks

• Proficiency in backend development; experience with Ruby is a bonus.

• A solid understanding of software design principles and testing best practices .

• Exceptional problem-solving skills , attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset.

• Proficient in English and ideally located in Berlin.
