About the role:

As a Senior React FrontEnd developer, you will apply a broad range of specialized skills, theories, concepts, principles, and methods to develop and maintain complex user-facing applications. You will handle assignments with complex aspects, working independently while your work is reviewed for soundness.

Responsibilities:

  • Complex UI Development: Design and implement sophisticated user interfaces.

  • Performance Optimization: Ensure high performance and responsiveness of web applications.

  • Advanced Component Development: Create and maintain advanced reusable components and libraries.

  • Innovation: Introduce new technologies and practices to improve frontend development.

  • Mentorship: Mentor junior engineers and contribute to their development.

  • Problem Solving: Identify and resolve complex issues in the frontend codebase.

Requirements:

  • 5+ of professional experience in developing and maintaining complex user-facing applications.

  • Expertise in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+).

  • Proficiency in modern JavaScript frameworks and libraries such as React and Next.js

  • Advanced understanding of responsive design principles and experience with CSS preprocessors like SASS or LESS.

  • Demonstrated ability to ensure high performance and responsiveness of FE applications development.

  • Experience in creating and maintaining advanced reusable components and libraries.

  • Proven ability to introduce new technologies and practices to improve frontend development.

  • Experience in mentoring junior engineers and contributing to their professional development.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve complex issues in the frontend codebase.

  • Proficiency in version control systems like Git.

  • A continuous learner, eager to stay updated on the latest frontend technologies and best practices.

  • Experience with frontend build tools and package managers (e.g., Webpack, npm, Yarn).

  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integrating frontend interfaces with backend services.

  • Understanding of UX/UI principles and best practices.

  • Knowledge of performance testing and debugging practices.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Nice-to-have

  • College degree education

  • Experience with Webflow and/or other CMS platforms

  • Proficiency with NextJS and AWS

  • Have experience with working on internationalization and localization

  • Experience working in a startup environment
