The team
Kraken’s Marketing Technology and CRM Operations team is looking for a Sr. Marketing Specialist - MarTech who will help manage Kraken’s best-in-class technology stack towards good governance and continuous evolution. This role will report to our Director of Marketing Technology and Operations, and collaborate cross-functionally with lifecycle marketing, product marketing, product management and engineering teams in order to continue evolving our data infrastructure and technology features to support our marketing tactics across channels.
The team supports the company’s growth and client engagement strategy by implementing tools and executing cross-channel communications in order to help our clients make the most of Kraken’s exchange ecosystem. We strive to serve our internal and external clients with best-in-class technology and marketing best practices, such as hyper-personalization and real-time, relevant messaging, towards flawless execution.
The opportunity

Help manage MarTech tools’ operational needs such as access and usage management and new integrations

Gather and translate marketing/business use cases into technical requirements

Provide hands-on guidance for internal stakeholders and develop documentation as playbook

Ensuring implementation of best practices for tool governance and marketing activation (email IP reputation management, feature onboarding, communication channel adoption, etc)

Troubleshoot tooling issues and coordinate resolution with vendors and/or internal stakeholders

Address attribution and measurement needs across digital marketing channels, in collaboration with Engineering and Analytics

Participate in evaluation process for new vendors and coordinate implementation of new tools cross-functionally

Additional duties/responsibilities as required
Skills you should HODL

2-5 years of experience with ESP management required (Braze, Klaviyo, Iterable, etc.)

Expert knowledge of Google Analytics and Tag Manager

Familiarity with SQL and HTML/CSS

Familiarity with web and mobile app environments, SDK and product lifecycle
-
An understanding of performance metrics as well as business/marketing analytics
-
Strong organization and project management skills
-
Strong crypto conviction and familiarity with our product offerings
