About the Roll*
We are seeking a motivated Associate Product Designer with an interest for crafting extraordinary user experiences that enable and enrich the lives of diverse global communities. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to design intuitive, accessible, and culturally relevant digital products and services.
We’re looking for someone eager to learn, who asks mindful questions, takes ownership of their work, and embraces collaboration at every opportunity. With guidance from a mentor, you’ll grow your design skills while contributing to meaningful experiences that make a difference and “Do right by the customer.”
 
Location: This role is Dublin-based with up to 20% domestic travel (to customers and partners in Ireland) and international travel up to 10% of the time to visit customers and teams in London and Boston.
 
The right ingredients* (Requirements)
  • 1-2 years of experience in a product design role
  • Proficient in designing for responsive web and native mobile platforms including wireframes, user journey maps, prototypes and detailed designs
  • Ability to work with UI components to create pixel perfect experiences
  • Experience using Figma and other prototyping and design collaboration tools
  • Enough user research fluency to plan and conduct research that generates actionable insights
  • Understand how to conduct design reviews to obtain feedback and iterate on designs to improve results
  • Proactive about seeking out guidance and mentorship from others
  • Able to work in a fast-paced hybrid work environment and autonomously manage tasks
  • Passion for creating delightful, native-feeling experiences for our global customer base

About You

You’re excited to join the remotely distributed group of product designers, user researchers, design ops leaders, and product managers that compose the Toast Design team. **This is a hybrid role, requiring two days in the office per week**
