Our client is a well-established organization based in St. Petersburg, FL, with a strong commitment to operational excellence. The company is currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Fraud Analyst, Enterprise Fraud Risk Management to join its Corporate Procurement team.

Position Overview

We are seeking a Fraud Analyst, Enterprise Fraud Risk Management to join our client's Enterprise Fraud Risk Management team. This role involves investigating potentially suspicious activities, monitoring fraud trends, and supporting fraud-related initiatives. The ideal candidate for the Fraud Analyst, Enterprise Fraud Risk Management role will have experience in fraud detection and investigation, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities Of The Fraud Analyst, Enterprise Fraud Risk Management

  • Investigate potentially suspicious activity arising from account surveillance, branch escalations, risk alerts, regulatory investigations, and other sources.
  • Conduct due diligence related to potential fraud, including reviewing client background information and transaction activity.
  • Utilize various third-party and internal databases for fraud detection.
  • Prepare Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) as appropriate.
  • Monitor regulatory developments and industry trends to ensure compliance with fraud risk management best practices.
  • Develop documentation and enhance corporate fraud policies and procedures.
  • Participate in special projects and initiatives as assigned.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as required.

Required Experience/Skills for the Fraud Analyst, Enterprise Fraud Risk Management:

  • Knowledge of fraud-related controls, policies, and procedures.
  • Minimum of 2 years of Fraud or AML investigatory and analysis experience.
  • Understanding of securities industry and/or banking compliance reviews.
  • Experience with fraud alert review (e.g., debit card, velocity, change in behavior, wire transfers).
  • Proficiency in tools such as ServiceNow, GIACT, LexisNexis, and Excel.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to interpret and apply fraud control measures.

Preferred Experience/Skills for the Fraud Analyst, Enterprise Fraud Risk Management:

  • Experience in financial markets, investment concepts, and banking operations.
  • Familiarity with open-source investigations.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university in a related field.
