As Marketing Events & Congress Lead (m/f/d) at Penumbra, you will bring our brand and mission to life by leading third-party events and congresses. You’ll oversee planning, logistics, budgeting, and compliance, while collaborating with Sales, Marketing, and other key teams to create engaging, high-impact experiences. Your project leadership and cross-functional coordination will play a vital role in our success.

Main Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, execution, and evaluation of third-party event sponsorships and congress participation across EMEAregion 

  • Manage a team of Event and Congress representatives by providing day-to-day support, setting right goals and objectives, developing skills and competencies and maintaininghigh level of engagement. 

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Marketing, Compliance, Legal, etc.) to develop annual event strategies, manage budgets, and ensure compliance with industry standards and internal policies 

  • Oversee all event logistics—from speaker coordination to booth setup—ensuring timely, high-quality delivery 

  • Drive booth traffic boosting initiatives to deliver satisfactory sales leads 

  • Monitor and report on event performance and marketing initiatives, identifying opportunities for improvement 

  • Support team knowledge-sharing and contribute to maintaining quality and compliance standards across all activities 

What We’re Looking For

  • Degree or training in Event Management, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field 

  • 5+ years of event experience, ideally in healthcare, medical devices, or other regulated industries 

  • 3+ years of people management experience 

  • Strong English communication skills;additional European languages are a plus 

  • Excellent organizational and project management abilities, with attention to detail 

  • Proactive, accountable, and adaptable mindset 

  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build trusted relationships 

  • Team player who supports an inclusive, collaborative culture 

  • Proficient in MS Office; Cvent experience is a plus
