Job Description

At XBorg, we aim to empower the next generation of players by building applications that unlock personalized digital experiences, opportunities, and rewards based on players’ gaming and social activities. We are redefining how players navigate their digital world, truly rewarding them for their time and effort spent gaming and socializing.

Our flagship product, a white-label solution revolutionizing fan engagement, is used by some of the largest esports teams in the world like Team Liquid, Ninjas In Pyjamas, Team BDS, and more to be announced soon.

After raising over $9M in community funding and successfully launching our XBG token, we're leveling up our team to build game-changing apps for millions of players and fans.

Sounds exciting? We think so too. To make it happen, we are looking for top talent to join our tech team.

Responsabilities

  • Build and Scale Backend Systems: Architect backend systems designed for scalability and efficiency. You’ll work with high traffic and large data sets, so expect to optimize for performance and resilience.

  • Optimize and Monitor: Keep a close eye on performance metrics, identifying bottlenecks and continuously improving response times and stability.

  • Prioritize Security: Implement and maintain security protocols to safeguard both system integrity and data privacy.

  • Develop and Maintain APIs: Design APIs that connect our frontend applications with backend logic, focusing on reliability and clarity.

  • Diagnose and Resolve Issues: Tackle bugs and technical issues as they arise, with an emphasis on troubleshooting and long-term fixes.

What You Might Bring

  • Experience with Nest.js , PostgreSQL, Heroku/AWS, Docker, and Typescript.

  • 5+ years of experience in full-time or part-time software development, or you've built your own products/projects as a backend engineer.

  • Passion for gaming and/or Web3/decentralized technologies.

What we offer

  • An exciting opportunity to be part of a well-funded startup revolutionizing the gaming & esports industry.

  • Competitive salary, including a token incentive package.

  • Weekly gaming sessions with our team and community members.

  • Bi-yearly team retreats and financial support for attending conferences and events of interest.

  • A flexible remote work environment.
